javax.servlet.UnavailableException: TilesPlugin : Specified RequestProcessor not compatible with TilesRequestProcessor

Got the following error while deploying a Struts 1 application to a Weblogic 10.3.5 production server:

This is one of the most random production errors I’ve ever had in my life. Sometimes it would deploy on the first server of the clusters but not on the second, sometimes it only deployed on the second server and sometimes it would just deploy on both servers after cleaning out all the temporary files … But at least we still had 50% of our production servers up and running 🙂 .

The cause of this complete randomness ? A Struts-test component had managed to slip in a different version of Struts 1 in the application EAR. We had packaged both Struts 1.2.9 and Struts 1.3.9 in the same EAR !
What shame :$
